Why Participate?

By sharing your story, you can inspire others, help us build community and contribute to a broader conversation about the importance of financial literacy. Here’s what we might ask you to share:
Your Sports Background. Tell us about your journey in sports. What sports did you play? At what level did you compete? Share your favorite memories, the challenges you faced, and the moments that defined your career.
What You’re Doing Now. Life after sports can take many directions. Whether you’re coaching, working in a different field, or pursuing a passion project, we want to know how you’ve transitioned. Highlighting your current endeavors can offer valuable insights into life beyond the game.
The Importance of Financial Literacy. Financial literacy is crucial for everyone, but especially for athletes who often face unique financial situations. Why is financial education important to you? How has it impacted your life, both during and after your athletic career?
What You Wish You Learned About Money in School. Reflecting on your experiences, what financial lessons do you wish you had learned earlier? Whether it’s budgeting, investing, or understanding contracts, your insights can help educate the next generation.
